CALLED TO LIVE AND GIVE JESUS TO ALL PEOPLES

As disciples of Jesus Master, our lives are centered on Jesus who is the Way, the Truth and the Life, present in the Eucharist and in the transformative Word of God. We are called to joyfully proclaim Jesus Master to all people through our Eucharistic, Priestly and Liturgical Mission.

Eucharistic Adoration is a pivotal part of our daily life and we welcome others to our chapels and in parish churches to come and spend time in prayer before Jesus present in the Eucharist. During Adoration we hold up to the Eucharistic Lord all the needs of humanity and of the Church. We pray for peace and harmony amongst all people, we bring to him the sufferings, struggles and anxieties as well as the hopes and dreams for a better world of all our brothers and sisters.

Our love for the Eucharist instills in us a great love for the priesthood. We contribute to the pastoral development of the Church by praying for priestly vocations, assisting and accompanying them in their formation and in the exercise of their ministry. In friendship we give caring support to priests, especially in times of suffering and when they are elderly and infirm.

The talents and creativity of the sisters are placed at the service of the Liturgy and evangelization. Our aim is to help the Christian community to live, pray and participate in the Liturgical celebrations with dignity and in beauty. Our artistic activity include: architecture, sculpture, iconography, music and the making of vestments. We are also involved in catechesis and biblical- liturgical animation and formation.

Blessed James Alberione, founded the Pauline Family which consists of five religious congregations and five secular institutes. The Sister Disciples of the Divine Master founded on the 10th February, 1924, are an international congregation present in over thirty nations. The founder intended that the Sister Disciples with their life of contemplative Eucharistic prayer would support the activities of the other Pauline congregations. They were to pray and make reparation especially for the apostolate of social communications so that these modern means of the media may be used for evangelization.

We live our lives as Disciples of Jesus Master in joy, simplicity and thanksgiving. Our vocation is a beautiful gift of God that is ever new and that needs to be shared.

We invite young women to “Come and See”. Pope Francis at Rio’s World Youth Day, 2013 said to the young people, “ The Church  needs your enthusiasm, your creativity and joy that is so characteristic of you!”
